Minutes of PCCG lesson 2010

Agenda
The agenda for this lesson was as follows:
· Achievements that students were proud of in 2009
· Low points of 2009
· Actions to bond class better in 2010
Students were in groups of six, inclusive of both genders. This was to ensure that the opinions were from both sides, and to let the boys and girls interact more. One or two group members were then selected by the group to present to the class.

| 1.1 | First for NAPFA (Physical Fitness Test) with 100% pass, first in Overall Class Cleanliness and first in level for Maths Science Pillar (MSP) challenge. |
| 1.2 | The boys were second for the Basketball Inter-class Tournament. We were also second for Orientation and the Environmental Fashion Show. |
| 1.3 | Good and efficient Class Committee. |
| 1.4 | Both class outings were fun and bonded the class better. |
| 1.5 | Built a reputation among teachers and peers for being relatively well-behaved and polite. |
| 1.6 | At first, the class was quiet and unresponsive. However, as the year progressed, we worked hard together to participate more actively. |
| 1.7 | The class fared reasonably well for the EOYs. |
| 1.8 | We were pretty bonded by the end of the year, as shown in the fact that almost everyone went to the Inter-Class to support our teams. |
| 1.9 | The girls also showed good sportsmanship after the Inter-Class netball, and did not complain of biasness/ unfairness when the opponent won. |
| 1.10 | One of our teams obtained the ‘Never-say-die’ award in the DHS X’plore 2010. |
| 2. | Low Points of 2009 |
| 2.1 | The class was still quite quiet and did not participate as much as the teachers expected us to. We were also quite slow in most of our activities. |
| 2.2 | There was a divide between the boys and girls, i.e. the boys and girls were bonded well within themselves, but interaction between the genders can still be improved. |
| 2.3 | Sometimes, not the whole class was committed to lessons or activities. I.e. some talk among themselves or zone out when they were supposed to do group work. |
| 2.4 | There were occasional cliques, and some seldom interacted with those outside of the clique. |
| 2.5 | Some of the class also did not know the entire level much. |
| 2.6 | Our level camp was cancelled due to the H1N1 outbreak. |
| 3. | Actions to Bond the Class Better in 2010 |
| 3.1 | Encourage boys and girls to interact more. |
| 3.2 | A successful class outing. We are currently deciding between an amazing race, playing paintball, and a fencing session. Fencing was suggested by our Co-Form Teacher, Mr Zein, as he sees it as an opportunity to know each other better, as well as learn values such as teamwork, chivalry and sportsmanship. He is also trying to get a subsidy from the school for the $40 full-day session. (WHEEPEE!! pee??) |

| 3.4 | A new class t-shirt. |
| 3.5 | More interaction between boys and girls. This will be achieved through more group work, eating lunch and recess together, and having study sessions with the whole class. |
| 3.6 | Be first for class league and maintain Inter-Class standards for the boys, improve the standards for the girls. |
| 3.7 | Obtain more Gold awards for NAPFA by including activities to help improve our fitness. Everyone to get at least the Bronze award. |

| 3.9 | Whole class to obtain GPA of at least 2.8. |
