Dear 1Ivers,
Agree with most of what Clarabelle has said in her latest entry, however, I believe that all of you should start participating more actively in class based on your own initiative and not just because your class comm wants you to, or because a number of teachers are complaining about it. Like I told you in the first week, I
hope all of you to eventually learn how to voice your opinions daringly and be able to speak your mind in front of an audience.
Anyway, will talk to you all more about this in class. Just finished marking your test scripts, and just a little congratulations before the Chinese New Year. 12 of your classmates scored FULL MARKS in the test and your average score for the test was
18.2/20 which is really quite impressive so I hope that all of you will continue to work hard and smart in the months to come.

Dear all,
I believe up till now, most of you are still coping well with the amount of schoolwork which has been assigned to you. If I'm wrong, do feel free to look for me to tell me of your problems/difficulties. -)
In any case, I have just received news of the CNY mascot and the 讲解员 have two more rehearsals to go too. One is tomorrow and Friday. What I want to say is that I can see everyone putting in a lot of effort in making our class a really pleasant and decorative environment for CNY so for this item, just make sure its decent. It does not have to be anything spectacular but at least not anything slipshod. And I would hope
everyone in the class to try to help out wherever they can, with all thats going on, its not really nice to just dump everything to the class comm. NOT that I'm saying you all are doing that, but once in a while...things tend to get that way when everyone else starts getting busy with their CCA etc.
So for now, just enjoy yourself with the rest of the class and look forward to CNY!!

Dear Ivers,
I wanted to post to say that I was quite impressed with how all of you were putting in effort to help decorate the class for CNY celebrations. But after reading yih xi's post, I suppose there were some unhappiness or misunderstanding between some of you pertaining to the decorations put up. This is not surprising as these situations are bound to happen for any class, let alone our 1I. BUT. The important thing is that we must all learn from these situations and grow more mature by learning to handle these situations.
It is not easy. BUT. I believe that all of you are capable of doing it IF you put your heart into doing it.
And like what Yih Xi said, if there are any issues, feel free to look for your seniors or me. No matter how busy I am, I will try to find time to listen to anyone of you.
Lastly, remember to focus on your studies and don't let petty issues ruin your friendships with classmates!
