Hey iverians,

Tomorrow will be our birthday celebration. The cake willbe fruit, according to the compilations from the babies=) so it will be during our 2 period break, just after PC (beautiful) However, the class comm have forseen some problems we will encounter.
1. We will most likely not get a full table with nobody occupies.Thus, there will some delay, but the comm will try to ask the occupants to get lost.okay jk but we will try to persuade them to move toanotherplace. AND another one will be dont just disappear! we want the whole class to bond okay and we will take pics:)

dearest iverians!

very happy that we got 6 marks for our recent class cleanliness check. but as you all observed, ms lee checks the classroom VERY OFTEN.

so these rules will be implied from monday onwards. (:

1) everybody on duty for the day needs to stay back after school to clean up the class*
2) please report to me before or after you've done your duty
3) make sure all criterias are met before you leave the class
4) make sure there are NO ERASER DUST on the table

* - for those that have immediate cca (e.g. UG meetings are at 2 15, and you have to eat lunch) or competition after dismissal, please report to me or marcus. Then, you will have to do your duty the next day.

this is not for the class league but for a clean studying environment!

and also, the class should play a part by throwing all litter into the dustbin and clearing all eraser dust. :D

FYI, we found a piece of CHEWING GUM stuck to the bottom of the rubbish bin. may i ask whoever that did it to KINDLY wrap it up and then throw it into the bin outside the class? xinyu and steph took a great deal of effort to get it out of the bin.

and...

for the past week, jojo, xinyu, steph, chensi have been staying back after class to keep the class clean. even when its not their duty to do so. it makes me happy to see some of us doing our part

but when i see someone skipping his/her duties, it really makes me feel like.. irritated. :D

SO, please please dont skip your duty!!

i'd like to commend caryn, xinyu, jojo, steph, chensi for staying back after school almost everyday!! hahas

ohyes, from monday onwards, there will be a punishment for all those who skipped their duties : duty for the whole week.

Dear Iverians,

First of all, thank you for singing the birthday song for me. -) Appreciates the kind gesture a lot.

The more important thing which I would like to announce on this post is that there was a spot check for class cleanliness today! And I'm very happy to announce that...1I has scored full marks this time around! Well done!!

We are currently placed 6th among all the Year 1 classes for class cleanliness, but our points are not far from the rest so continue to keep the class clean conscientiously. As I have said, it will be much easier to score class league points from class cleanliness as long as everyone puts in their little bit of effort everyday, so keep up the good work and lets bring 1I to greater heights!

Dear Iverians,

I want to congratulate the class on another victory! Seeing the effort on the costume made me immensely proud of all of you, irregardless of the outcome of the competition.

Remember, as long as each and everyone of you put in your little bit of effort towards the class activities, 1I will excel in anything that you all set out to do!

I would also like to commend a few of you whom I saw helping out after school with the class duty even though the few of you were not on duty. It just takes a few minutes to arrange the furniture if more of you help out after lessons end everyday. Lets try to start off with this little step towards making your classroom a better environment to study in. Ok 1I? -)

Dear Iverians,

Let me reiterate what I have mentioned briefly in class today. It really makes me rather down when I see any of you feeling under the weather or immensely tired due to the many reasons there may be. I know that it is difficult to "guarantee" oneself to be free from illness but I think each and everyone of us should try our best to keep healthy with the following methods:

1. Drink lots of water. NOT ice-blended or those sweet drinks...plain water is the way to go.

2. Eat well and in moderation. I know some of you don't like to take vegetables but they are REALLY good for our dietary system and will help to purge out the toxics.

3. Take fruits everyday.

4. Exercise once or twice a week. Exercise helps to release endorphins so you will feel better after a run or a swim or even a game of table tennis. =)

5. Last but not least, have SUFFICIENT SLEEP/REST everyday. I know some of you stay up late at night doing homework, watching television, playing online games etc. NO! You should start learning how to take care of yourself without your parents nagging anymore since you're already in Secondary 1!

Yeap, thats all. So lets all try to stay healthy and admist all that, if you're sick, down with fever or any other illnesses which may be contagious, do stay at home and get a good rest. -)

Its at the block overlooking zhenxin lou, 2nd lvl. Its near the ksp room i think.. Please bring $5 and pass it to Ben by 11 feb. Also, please for those who have not gave their house no. to xinyu plz do so by Mon. I think most probably we will be going tgt to the meeting room 3.

3) Mon PC lesson will be the cyber space computing lesson. Please remember to bring your cyber file.

Dear Ivers,

I'm delightfully surprised when I visited the class blog after a week of absence and found it to be so professionally and aesthetically done up by the many of you who put in each of their efforts. Well done!

Just a short notice. If you know of classmates who do not visit this blog, do pass the msg to them. Don't wanna say this in class as it may sound too solemn and serious.

Adding all those Ivers on facebook is because I see no harm in all of us being connected on the world wide web.
