Yo people!
In the midst of this serious recession, all of you would like discounts right? A-ha! You are nodding as hard as you can, right? Don't deny it (: Okay: WHO WUD LIKE A DISCOUNT? You are waving your hand in the air with utmost enthusiasm as you yell at the top of you voice, "MEE!!!" Yes? If not, I am disappointed in you as you do not have a tinge of one of the most influential Singaporean values: Kiasu-ness.
Yes, so what is the message that I wish to convey in this little blog post? The fact that all of us like discounts. (Click here to claim prizes, but I have no idea how to hyper-link and am too lazy to try, though I would certainly master the art of hyper- linking before you can say: Mooliimoola kuukiikuukaa. I see you trying to recite it, but you obviously could not as you do not know the sacred language of kukukia. You are jabbing a finger at the screen and asking me: So you so pro you know arh? Of course I do as I made it up myself! For all those learning 3rd Lang, you all probably know how hard it is to learn a language. Here you go again, nod nod nod. Even learning a language is difficult, so creating one is even harder! Hence, you will learn to appreciate my genius as I can, out of nothing, create a kukukia language. Sacred one somemore.)
To all the teachers reading this post, you all like discounts, too, right? Close your eyes and envision a teacher rushing to the Great Singapore Sale (GSS), armed with cash and credit cards. Not too hard, eh? This is a perfect example of exhibiting the great value: kiasu- ness
So teachers, would you all like to make some one happy? (actually 36 someones) by discounting the amount of homejoys? Though homejoys make you happy as you can see our gross eye bags due to the lack of sleep, which is in turn, due to the un- lackness of homejoys? (which, to all who are not extremely proficient in figuring out my long sentences out there, means we cant sleep properly cos we have too much homejoys and the teachers are happy about that) But homejoys do NOT please poor iverians at all as we dont wanna look gross with eyebags!
In the midst of a serious recession, we all LUV discounts. So I shall make you all very sad (yes, i can manipulate your feelings!) by stopping right here and discounting a proper ending. Teachers who have seen this, you know how to make us iverians love you to bits. hinthint* refer to paragraph above!
